Meredy Birdi - The Cancer Dietitian

Personalised Cancer Nutrition
Programmes and Pricing

Cancer already asks a great deal of you. Nutrition doesn’t need to become another source of pressure.

Why I work in periods of support

Cancer treatment, recovery and life beyond cancer rarely follow a straight line. Symptoms can change. New questions come up. Priorities shift. What feels important one month may be very different the next.

That's why I offer support over a period of time rather than as isolated appointments.

Working together over time allows us to respond to what is happening, adapt your plan as needed, and focus on what will be most helpful at each stage. This helps nutrition feel clearer, more manageable, and easier to navigate.

Support that adapts to you

Whether you're preparing for treatment, in the middle of it, or moving forward afterwards, we work with what's happening for you now.

This might include managing side effects, supporting appetite or weight, protecting muscle, preparing for surgery, thinking about bone health or menopause, or making sense of conflicting nutrition advice.

As both a Registered Dietitian and Nutritional Therapist, I bring together specialist oncology dietetic expertise with a broader nutritional therapy perspective. That means I can support you in the context of your treatment, side effects and medical history, while also considering wider aspects of health and wellbeing that may be important to you.

A big part of my role is helping you translate nutrition advice into something that works in real life.

How this supports you

Feel clear and confident

Know what matters most and what you can safely let go of, without second-guessing.

Make sense of conflicting information with trusted guidance when you need it.

Calm, structured support

You’re not left waiting weeks for help or trying to work everything out between sessions.

You have consistent support as you put things into practice.

A manageable way forward

Instead of a long list of changes, we break things down into realistic, doable steps.

This makes it easier to follow through and adapt things as needed.

Support that helps you feel stronger

Staying on top of your nutrition supports treatment tolerance and your strength, energy, resilience, and recovery.
