It has been so fantastic to work with you Meredy. I am actually sad that my sessions have come to an end as I will miss our relationship. It has been like working with a good friend, but one who has a wealth of professional knowledge and experience of working with cancer patients.
At an incredibly stressful time Meredy, you have been a hugely positive and compassionate support in my life. When I have felt confused and anxious about all the information about food and cancer and desperate to do something positive to support my health and wellbeing, you have been there, like an anchor to clear away all the information overload and provided simple, practical advice on what and how to eat.
Your approach has always felt incredibly personalised. I have felt supported much beyond my nutrition. You have always taken a very holistic approach and have supported me with my overall physical and emotional wellbeing which has been invaluable. Each time I’ve had a session with you, you have held a space where I have felt safe to really share how I’m feeling and explore what I need to help get me through at each different stage of my treatment and recovery.
No question or topic has ever felt too small or too silly to ask. I have never felt rushed in the appointments and you have even taken time to discuss elements of how to support my wider family with their nutrition and wellbeing too, recognising the important links between my wellbeing and theirs. My husband attended our appointments too and we have both always felt much more positive after a session with you.
I am so grateful to have been fortunate to have met you and had you in my life at this difficult time.
Thank you Meredy from the bottom of my heart.
